What currency are the prices listed in?

All orders are shipped from Canada and transacted in Canadian dollars.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Interac (Debit) and Kartra.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

Oh no! There are a few things you can check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (billing address and name) match what you’ve entered into our system. Also double check that your credit card number, expiry, CVC and postal code are all correct. If you’re still having trouble, shoot us an email to care@21grammori.com and we’ll do our best to troubleshoot!

Pre-Order and Back-Ordered Items

If your order contains pre-order or back-ordered items, we will ship items as soon as they are available.


Where do you ship?

We currently only ship across Canada, including PO boxes. We do have expansion plans starting with the USA - so make sure to sign up for our newsletter and fill in your country so we can alert you when that changes.

How much is shipping?

  • Free Curbside Pickup: All orders – any amount! Toronto, ON (Yonge/Bloor area)
  • Free Standard Shipping: Orders Over $75 (not including discounts and tax)
  • Orders Under $75, the standard shipping charge will populate at checkout
  • In a rush? Express shipping rates are available for selection at checkout. Or arrange Curbside Pickup.

What is your shipping timeline during COVID-19?

Most items ship from our Toronto warehouse to your destination. Orders are processed in 48 hours: estimate 5-8 days shipping depending on province.

However, some of our biodegradable urns ship direct from the USA supplier to your destination. Orders are processed in 48 hours - estimate 10 days shipping. Our trusted supplier says 7 days but with COVID still impacting the border we're seeing a little longer. One each product open the "shipping timing" tab to see it ships from.

We are working hard to get orders shipped as quickly as possible. Remember, your local delivery service may be strained and experiencing some delays. Contact us at email if you have specific questions about your order.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Your order will be processed within 24-48 hours of receipt, with exceptions during peak holiday periods. Once your order has been processed, you will be notified with an Order Confirmation Email.

Expedited Orders must be received by 1pm EST Monday-Friday to be processed the next morning. Orders received over the weekend and on holidays will be processed the following business day.

Under COVID-19 circumstances, you can expect your shipping confirmation email within 3-5 business days. From there, our standard shipping within Canada is 5-8 business days. Please bear in mind that your local delivery services may currently be strained, so it may take a little longer than usual to receive your package. You’ll receive a notification when your order is on the way. And you're welcome to contact us at care@21grammori.com any time if you have questions!

What shipping carrier do you use?

All orders are shipped via Canada Post or DHL.

Can I ship 21 Grammori products as a gift?

Yes! You can gift anything in our store to be sent directly to them. Just enter the recipient's address at checkout and we’ll ensure it arrives safe and sound. Plus, our invoices don’t include pricing, so they’ll never know the cost!


Can I exchange/return my items?

We want you to love what you receive but we totally understand if you need a refund. We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. Note, returns are subject to validation and approval. 21 Grammori reserves the right to limit or refuse a return at its sole discretion. We’ll do this with the ultimate goal to keep you happy and be a returning customer!

If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions where to send your package via the carrier of your choice that will ensure it's delivered to us max 10 business days. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will likely not be accepted.

All shipping charges are non-refundable. 21 Grammori does not offer free shipping on returns unless the product arrives damaged or the wrong item(s) shipped to you. When returning item(s) with your own label we highly recommend you use a traceable method of shipping so you can track return delivery.


If you receive a product from us that appears to be damaged, please accept our apologies and contact us immediately at care@21grammori.com (see instructions under Returns) and we will quickly resolve the issue for you.

We permit each of our artisans to determine if their unique, hand-crafted urn is returnable for a refund. This will be clearly marked on each product page (if there is not a note then it qualifies for our 7-day return).

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If fully approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

21 Grammori always aims to keep our website up-to-date, unfortunately, sometimes due to high demand an item may be out of stock or unavailable. In the event this should happen our team will contact you via e-mail to confirm if you would like the order shipped incomplete and update you on the requested product arrival time. If not, our team is happy to help you find a replacement.


How do special offers work?

Promo Codes are valid toward sale items. Can not be combined with final clearance items or other promotional offers (e.g. gift certificate bonus or towards purchases made with a gift certificate). No cash value.

Gift certificates are valid on regular and sales items. Can not be combined with other promotional offers or promo codes or used towards purchasing gift certificates. Non-transferrable; no cash value.


Can I provide my own urn?

Yup, you can bring your own urn to a funeral home, crematorium or cemetery. While ever Canadian province words their laws a little differently the bottom line is your rights are protected and you can bring your own as long as it meets safety standards. Best of all, if it’s acceptable they can not charge an extra fee. Read on Canada Funeral Laws and urns from third-parties.

Not only do you get more unique options, but here’s a sampling of the savings that means. The last urn my family bought was $820 for a large adult male. Compare that to our average regular price at $181. That’s 352% less….a savings of $639.


What size of urn do I need?

The rule of thumb is for each pound of weight will equal one cubic inch of ashes after cremation occurs. To make it even easier we created a size guide and this cool calculator for you.


What’s the difference?

Are you Team Aluminum or Team Brass? Or Copper? Here’s how to decide.
Not to get too creepy for you, but once you put the ashes into an urn it’s heavier than you’d expect. That’s one of the reasons that Aluminum is popular. It’s not as glam sounding as brass, but we’ve worked with our suppliers to select a premium aluminum that’s still very durable, while also being lighter weight than its brass buddy. It’s also corrosion resistant and non-magnetic.

Brass is a lightweight metal alloy (copper and zinc) that gives off a bright golden appearance when polished. Often brass cremation urns are finished with bronze or pewter to strengthen it and to alter the color. Brass can also be coated in enamel or paint.

Copper some of our premium urns are made of this because it is a pure metal and thus slightly stronger. Copper normally oxidizes over time turning the surface green or bluish-green; however our urns are finished in e.g. pink, sage, blue and gold to hold its color.

What’s the deal with cornstarch?
Our Little Black Death and Little Blue Death are made out of eco-friendly cornstarch. It’s durable enough to be kept at home, or placed in a cemetery niche or columbarium, since they will not biodegrade unless buried.

How do you give back?

Government programs cover a bare bones funeral. But we believe everyone deserves more…to celebrate the person who’s passed and to help the living grieve.

We’ve started a fund to add the stuff that makes a funeral more special - from flowers to virtual memorials. $1 from every urn purchase we’ll donate to the fund.

Plus, if you buy a gift certificate or an urn and it does it purpose to get the recipient to talk and think about death – but it’s just not for them - they can donate it to the fund! Just drop us an email and we'll arrange this for you.
